1. Agreement to terms

By accessing or using the SERIN platform (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

SERIN provides an AI-powered platform for UK charities, CICs, and not-for-profit organisations to discover grant funding opportunities, write grant applications, manage organisational policies, and access community support.

3. User accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

4. Subscriptions and payments

• SERIN offers a 14-day free trial. After the trial, a paid subscription is required to continue using the Service.
• Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually through Stripe.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price changes take effect.

5. AI-generated content

SERIN uses artificial intelligence to assist with grant application writing, policy generation, and other features. Please note:

• AI-generated content is provided as a starting point and should be reviewed and edited by you before submission.
• SERIN does not guarantee that AI-generated content will result in successful grant applications.
• You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all content before submitting it to funders.
• AI-generated policies should be reviewed by a qualified professional before formal adoption.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of all content you create on the platform, including application drafts, organisation data, and uploaded documents. By using the Service, you grant SERIN a limited licence to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to submit fraudulent grant applications
• Share your account credentials or allow others to access your account
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or replicate any part of the platform
• Post harmful, offensive, or misleading content in the community features
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the platform

8. Limitation of liability

SERIN is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SERIN shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to unsuccessful grant applications or loss of data.

9. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the platform. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
